Terms of Use
These terms apply to the ScanWyse app and website, provided by Studio154 ("we", "us"). By using ScanWyse you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
ScanWyse reads a photo of a document, then provides a summary, action steps, deadlines, key details and a translation in the language you choose, and can read them aloud. Results are produced by automated systems.
No professional advice
Free trial and subscription
- ScanWyse requires a subscription. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial.
- When the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you are charged the price shown when you subscribed, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- On iPhone and iPad, payment is charged to your Apple ID account; on Android, to your Google Play account; on the website, to your card through Stripe. Manage or cancel in your account settings (see our support page).
- Refunds are handled by Apple, Google or Stripe according to their policies. We may change prices with notice, and changes apply at your next renewal.
Your use of the service
- Only scan documents you are allowed to scan, and do not use ScanWyse for anything unlawful.
- Do not try to disrupt, reverse-engineer or overload the service, or bypass its access or payment controls.
- You keep ownership of your documents. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability
We work to keep ScanWyse available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or stop features at any time.
Disclaimer and limits of liability
ScanWyse is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Studio154 is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss resulting from reliance on a translation or summary. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make significant changes we will tell you in the app or on this page. Continuing to use ScanWyse after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Studio154 is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules.
